WLAC26 Combined Events Open Day – 07th March 2021
The WLAC26 Combined Events is a pentathlon style event where athletes all compete in the same events as their age/gender group. Each athlete scores points for their best results achieved in each event. Athletes are ranked at the end of the day to determine results.
The points are determined by the Alberta Youth Scoring System. Thankfully, a computer will be employed to do all the math.

Cost to visiting members: $25 to enter (this will need to be paid by following the link to our store HERE – LAVic are not allowing payments through the portal)
Cost to Wodonga members: FREE
You must nominate (select) for all events in the pentathlon for your results to calculate correctly.
Please only nominate (select) the walk if you are participating in it on the day.
Event Program:
Race Walks will be offered as an optional event prior to the commencement of the first pentathlon event. There is no additional cost to enter the race walk event for participants registered for Combined Events.
Athletes who choose to attend and compete in the race walk only, are welcome to do so for a fee of $25.
Results achieved in the Race Walk will not score points under the Alberta Youth system, and therefore will not contribute to the points tally for the Combined Events Open Day.
A canteen will operate on the day at the venue.
Athletes are required to wear their Centre/Club uniform including their competition patch. Athletes from local schools should wear their PE uniform.
Race Walk: 8.30 am
Walk presentations: 8.50 am
Event 1: From 9 am
Presentations: 3pm
