Hire and use of Wodonga Little Athletics Facilities
Wodonga Little Athletics Centre (WLAC) is committed to helping local schools and clubs run their athletics carnivals. WLAC is willing to support local schools with what they need to ensure their sports carnivals run smoothly and students can perform to their full potential. This may include coaching, technical support, use of up-to-date equipment, event support, canteen and a well-maintained grass track.
WLAC can support a vast range of athletic events including:
Track Events – Sprints, Hurdles & Distance (Electronic timing system available)
Field Events – Discus, Shotput, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump
Equipment
This package provides the equipment required to run the above-listed field events. It does NOT include the race timing system. A WLAC representative will advise the school on the set up of events and pack-up procedure for the equipment at the end of the carnival.
Timing System
A new timing system is being deployed for the the school carnival season. Please contact the WLAC team for more details at wodonga@lavic.com.au
Technical Support
WLAC is unable to provide assistance on the day, however we can provide assistance prior to the event, e.g. meet with you to help with multi timer taining, provide advice on running the carnival ,and using recording sheets.
Canteen
The WLAC canteen is available for use during events, provided the school supplies at least two volunteers to assist with operations. A WLAC committee member will be present to oversee the running of the canteen and support volunteers as needed.
Please note: The canteen will remain closed and not in use if not provided by WLAC.

Bookings
All booking requests must be completed and sent to Wodonga Council for acceptance. Our hire form must also be completed for bookings to be confirmed.
