Break-in at the Centre won’t hold us back
Unfortunately, we have some sad news to share with our community.
Last weekend our little centre suffered a break-in.
There has been quite extensive damage to our canteen, our fridges and freezers are all broken. Our stock has been stolen as well as our float. The doors have been destroyed and the clean up is going to take a while.
We have established that our insurance excess is quite significant as well. This is going to hurt our centre in many ways. The extra pressure that this puts on our volunteers to get the centre ready for competition whilst being distracted trying to fundraise to replace the stolen items and provide police reports and insurance reports takes its toll.
At this stage, we have set up a donation link to try and ease the burden on our centre. If you know anyone that may be able to help please share our post to get our centre back to its old self as soon as possible.
To the committee, parents and guardians who are working so hard behind the scenes. Don’t be disheartened. We will be ready to run Saturday.
