Welcome to Wodonga Little Athletics
Wodonga Little Athletics Centre is affiliated with Little Athletics Victoria. Through this affiliation, the Wodonga centre is provided with the framework to enable them to conduct athletic programs for junior athletes in Wodonga and the surrounding areas.
Little Athletics Victoria is made up of 7 regions throughout the state. 4 Metro Regions and 3 Country Regions. Wodonga forms part of the Northern Country Region (NCR) and is one of 21 Centre’s that makes up the region.
Other Centre’s in our area that form part of this region are; Lavington/Jindera, Mt Beauty, Howlong, Corowa, Wangaratta, Benalla, Albury and Yarrawonga/Mulwala.
Based on the philosophy of family, fun and fitness, little athletics is an ideal sport for all children. The activities conducted help to develop balance, flexibility and coordination as well as enhancing the athlete’s communication and social skills.
The Wodonga Centre’s aim is to provide athletic events in a friendly and happy environment with an emphasis on participation, skill development and personal best improvement.
All registered members are fully insured as well as parent and volunteer helpers.
As a member of the little athletic family, there are many opportunities available to athletes to further develop their skills through competition and coaching. There is also the opportunity for interested parents and volunteers to further their knowledge by participating in the many courses offered through Little Athletics Victoria.
